One Year ago......On July 13th, I gave birth to my dear sweet Paislee. All babies are blessings but Adilee and Paislee are special blessings. When we were ready to start our family Josh and I had to go through some tough trials. We had three miscarriages before we got our special blessing Adilee. Then when Adilee was just three months old I conceived Paislee. The news of the pregnancy was a shock and over whelming at first due to the fact I still had an infant and was not planning on expanding my family any time soon. I was due to have Paislee on Adilees first birthday, however, she came 5 days early. And yes, that makes them 360 days apart! (my father in law likes to tease/remind me of this regularly:)). I soon realized that Paislee was a special blessing! I am so grateful my girls are so close in age and would not change it for anything. I would even do it again.....way down the road:)! I know at the time I was so scared to have two babies but now I consider my self lucky to have two such beautiful, happy, loving girls that are best friends. There is something special and tender about having two girls so close in age.
I love this picture of the girls......they have loved each other from the start!

And now one year later.....I have a 1 year old and a 2 year old that are the cutest ever! It is amazing how much growth there is in one year!
And they still are best friends and Love each other more then anything!
On Monday morning Paislee woke up an walked out to the front family room to see her presents wrapped up and waiting for her. When she saw the first one she pointed and said ohhhhhh and ran straight to it. We thought she was excited for the present but it was b/c there was a balloon taped to the gift. All she wanted to do was play with the balloon. Adi of course helped her sister open her presents and though all the toys were hers, good thing Paislee is good at sharing (really she could care less, she just wanted the balloons:))! One of her gifts was a tigger that does front/back rolls and head stands. Both of the girls are deathly afraid of him. This is embarrassing to say but we found it humorous when we made tiger roll and the girls started scream/shaking and running. Don't worry we only did it once or twice :). Now they like him from a distance and as long as they are being held while he does his tricks. (Paislee and Adilee got princess dress clothing from their cousins Gavin and Bella, and princess crowns and wands for their friends Parker and Sammy. Paislee loved dressing up and being girlie, I think she makes a beautiful Sleeping beauty)
On Wednesday we had a friend birthday party! On the morning of their friend birthday party Josh and I blew up 72 balloons. The girls loved it. I was getting ready in my room and then went into Adilees room to check on her. She had collected ALL the pink balloons, put them onto her bed, and was jumping up and down on her bed screaming PINK PINK PINK! She LOVES pink balloons! At the party we played some games, danced, sang happy birthday, ate cupcakes (Paislee had a popsicle), opened presents and just ran around having fun. The girls had so much fun, thank you to all that came and helped made the girls birthday a fun event. They got so many nice gifts from their friends, thank you!
This is one of the games that we played. The kids were suppose to be blind folded and put the Cinderella in her castle window, no one wanted to be blind folded. Instead the kids just enjoyed putting the sticker on where they pleased. I guess it was a little to "old" for them. Adi's friend, Audrey, put a "lip" sticker right on the face of one of the princesses but apparently our other friend Parker F. did not like this. He walked straight up to the princess removed her giant lips and stuck them else where.

This was almost everyone that came! What a nice group!

On Saturday (Adilees birthday) we had a family birthday party for the girls and their grandma and grandpas house. Adilee got to decorate her own cupcakes with grandma Hatch!

.....Adi being generous with the sprinkles and enjoying decorating.....

....Adi thought it was funny that she had sprinkles and frosting all over her hands, she was even more happy that she could lick her fingers when she was done and eat it......

....Adi proud of her work well done! Don't they look yummy!

We had a hot dog (Adilees favorite) dinner, presents, cupcakes, and swimming for her party. Thank you to all the family that came and celebrated with us. The girls loved their gifts and had a really good time. They got movies, books, puzzles, stickers, lots of really cute clothing, toys, princess shoes, music CD, Cinderella barbie, Elmo toys and more! SPOILED! or should I say LOVED! Thanks again everyone!

Everyone enjoying them selves at the party!

Opening the gifts. Once again Paislee just ran around playing with a ball while Adilee did all the opening.

Adilee and Paislees new swimming suits from grandma and papa!

Adilees birthday cupcake! Anytime you asked Adilee what she wanted for her birthday her first response was always cupcakes! She didn't quite get the whole you get presents for your birthday concept yet but she knew when ever you celebrate a birthday you get to eat cake! She loves cake! I think she gets the present concept now......except that now she thinks every present is hers!
